I spent my teenage years working in retail in Westport, Connecticut. It was there that I became aware that fashion was so much more nuanced than what the mannequins were wearing in the windows of the local GAP. I attended Hamilton College in upstate New York. This experience widened my perspective and opened my eyes to a variety of new ideas, artists and thinkers. Next came New York City, where I rejected the more traditional path of my investment banker bound classmates, instead developing my creativity in jobs like advertising copywriter, and working actress.
This multitude of experiences has shaped my creativity and sensibilities and provided me with an infinite well of inspiration to draw upon. On a more practical level, I have worked as a stylist at a wide range of stores - from the fashion houses on Rodeo Drive such as St. John to smaller boutique settings like Tory Burch. I have also honed my eye for style in classes at The School of Style. At this point, I quite simply, know what works and what doesn't.
Enough about me. Where do you fit in and how will my experiences help you? You are a person who is infinitely complex and wholly unique. Your life is one of a kind, and your sense of style should echo this individuality. Nobody can duplicate you. I will get to the root of who you are, your story if you will, and together we will create a look that is entirely yours. Because style is the essence of you, "Instant Language" as Muiccia Prada once said.
